- 2. What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
- We typically recommend starting at 500 pieces. Samples or small batches are also possible, but the unit cost will be higher.
- 3. What precision can die-cast parts achieve?
- Typical tolerances are 0.03mm to 0.1mm, critical dimensions can be held to tighter accuracy through secondary CNC machining.
- 4. What surface finishes are available?
- For aluminum: sandblasting, powder coating, baking paint, passivation. For zinc: electroplating (chrome, zinc, nickel), powder coating, baking paint, passivation.
- 5. Will die-cast parts have porosity or shrinkage issues?
- Minor porosity can occur in any die-casting process, but we can control defects within acceptable limits through proper gating design, process parameter control, and mold flow analysis. Parts with high air-tightness requirements can be impregnated.
